“This is an exciting time to be joining Hilding Anders as we continue to transform the company into a sales and marketing driven organisation offering innovative brand and private label concepts across Europe, Russia and Asia,” says Alex Myers
Anders Pettersson joined Hilding Anders two years ago as CEO. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in turning around the underperforming European businesses, investing in further growth opportunities in Russia and Asia and developing a ‘one company’ culture and new governance model.
“During the last two years, Anders has achieved a huge amount, culminating in a successful refinancing of the company’s balance sheet. As the business enters its next phase of strategic development, we are delighted to welcome Alex as CEO who we are confident will continue to lead the business in the right direction,” said Fredrik Arp, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
As a result of these new appointments, Fredrik Arp will step down as Chairman but continue as a Non-Executive Director alongside Marc Ciancimino and Nathaniel Zilkha from KKR Asset Management who will also join the Board in non-executive roles.
