Hilding beds first to be recommended by Asthma and Allergy Association
2013-06-28 [Press release]
Hilding is the first bed brand to have an entire bed solution recommended by the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association. This means that the whole family now can select beds free from allergens.
“This is in line with the group Quality of Sleep philosophy, where Hilding Anders focuses on three core areas: ergonomics, bed climate and bed hygiene. The recent announcement is a perfect confirmation that we are on the right way”, says Roland Schylit, Executive Vice President.
The Asthma and Allergy Association’s well known symbol will appear on the Hilding boxsprings Original, Family and Family Plus from the end of August, as well as on the new mattress Aksam. However, the design and production methods have remained the same. Hilding beds have always been free from allergens, which is what the Asthma and Allergy Association now has confirmed. The beds’ construction also allows a ventilated microclimate which guarantees a healthy bed climate.
The accompanying mattress Aksam is made of cotton with undyed fabric and filling material. The fabric covers are removable, washable and easy to keep fresh, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the recommendation of the Asthma and Allergy Association.
“It is estimated that as much as one fifth of Sweden’s population may suffers from various allergic reactions. To be recommended by the Asthma and Allergy Association, without making any amendments on the actual products, is a confirmation that our products are top of the line” says Peter Palmqvist, Marketing Director for Hilding Anders Sweden.
